- The British Marshall Scholarship provides funding to study in the United Kingdom and covers living expenses, tuition, books, and airfare for two years, with a possible renewal for a third year.
- Gates Cambridge Scholarships cover University and College fees for graduate study or a second bachelor's degree at the University of Cambridge in England, a maintenance allowance, a contribution toward return airfare, and other discretionary allowances.
- The Rhodes is one of the most competitive and prestigious awards available to students anywhere. It includes all fees, travel expenses, and a yearly stipend for two years of study at Oxford, with a possible renewal for a third year.

HERTZ FOUNDATION FELLOWSHIPSAward Description: One year (with possible renewal up to five years) graduate research fellowship for study toward a Ph.D. degree in applications of the physical sciences at one of the Foundation's tenable schools (see website for list) - Awards include a $25,000 stipend plus a cost-of-education allowance. Eligibility: Current senior or first year graduate student; should have research experience and excellent academic record; U.S. citizen, resident alien or U.S. national. Eligibility: Current senior or first year graduate student; should have research experience and excellent academic record; U.S. citizen, resident alien or U.S. national.
